Insurance and Billing Options
One of the most common questions I receive is about insurance and billing options. I'll briefly explain your choices so that you know what options are available to you. Self-pay ~88% Self-pay is the most common way people invest in themselves. In most cases (depending on your presenting issue), you will be offered a package of sessions at a discounted rate, because my goal is to help you achieve your goals.
In a few cases, such as low income, a sliding scale can be used to determine the rate of your investment.
Self-pay options include: *Cash *Check *Visa *Mastercard
Insurance ~9% More and more insurance companies are covering alternative/adjunct care now. These types of things include hypnosis, Reiki, acupuncture, and massage. You will simply need to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover hypnosis under your particular plan. If they do, you will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to them for reimbursement.
Cafeteria Plan ~3% Some employers offer cafeteria plans that will cover hypnosis. This is a pre-tax plan that allows you to utilize hypnotherapy services without being taxed on your income for the amount invested. If you have a cafeteria plan with your employer, or are covered under a spouse's cafeteria plan, this might be a viable option for you.
